Tanzania being home to the "roof of Africa" - Mount Kilimanjaro - Africa highest peak, a number of climbing adventures are available to the mountain climbing aficionado. These climbs are not only available on Mount Kilimanjaro but also on Mount Meru, The Usambara Mountains, The Udzungwa Mountains and many other mountain peaks in the expansive country that is Tanzania. Most of the trekking routes that have been developed are, however, on the two mountains, Mt Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro.
